This week was a long week!  It was a week where I spent a lot of time spinning my wheels, but not a lot of time getting anywhere.  I was ready for the week-end.  Most of all, I was ready for a TGIF cocktail!  I came across this recipe on Cosmopolitan's Pinterest account...I'm pretty sure I actually laughed out loud when I read the title.

This is a great cocktail for so many reasons:  it is simple, comes together in a matter of seconds, and most of all, it tastes an awful lot like a Girl Guide (or Girl Scout for you Americans) thin mint cookie!  A cocktail that tastes like a thin mint cookie = genius in my book...you already know how I feel about mint and chocolate.

With the holidays approaching, this drink also has a Christmassy vibe to it.  You could try styling it with a candy cane for a Christmas party, and it would be the ultimate after-dinner drink at a dinner party or Christmas feast!  Don't forget to tell your guests the name of the drink...it is sure to get some laughs!
